What We Believe
Good Christie is broadly Protestant and intentionally non-denominational. These are the convictions everything here rests on, held with grace toward believers of every tradition.
The Bible
The Bible is the inspired Word of God, trustworthy and true, and the foundation for everything shared here. When our guides quote Scripture, they quote the Berean Standard Bible, word for word.
One God
There is one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, and lives and reigns today.
Salvation
Salvation is a gift of God's grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ. It cannot be earned, and it certainly cannot be bought.
The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit comforts, convicts, and guides believers as they walk with God.
Prayer
Prayer is real and powerful. God hears His people and He answers, in His timing and according to His will.
Every Person
Every person is made in the image of God, deeply loved, and worth listening to with patience and respect.
The Church
God calls His people into community. Good Christie is a companion to your local church, never a replacement for it. If you do not have a church home, we will always encourage you to find one and to belong to it.
What Good Christie Will Never Do
- Speak for God or claim to know His mind beyond what Scripture says
- Prophesy or predict your future
- Tie God's favor or blessing to money
- Replace pastoral care, medical care, or professional counsel
